Kaleidoscapes' Kids' Cool Animation
Kids can make and view animations at this web site by using "graphic image files," or GIFs. There's no need to think it's too difficult. You'll find a tutorial, software applications, and Internet links to help you complete the animations. Then submit your animation to the site's gallery.
History of Animation: Before Disney
This is a short description of the early days of animation from its roots in ancient Egyptian paintings to the beginnings of American film animation. You can also find out what a thaumatrope is, and maybe make your own. This page is one of several student projects from the computer animation course at Texas A & M University.
