United States Postal Service: International Rates
The Post Office provides the rates for international mail on this page. Rates are given for mail being sent to Mexico and Canada, and to countries other than Mexico and Canada.
Domestic Mail Manual R100 First-Class Mail and Priority Mail
The Post Office provides their rate charts online. This page lists the postal rates for sending mail within the United States. You'll be looking at section 1.2, which is for single letters, flats, and parcels that are not pre-sorted.
Major Exhibitions at the National Postal Museum
The Smithsonian Institution has a marvelous online stamp collection. Select a theme link and look at the bottom of the page to link to the collection of images. Try looking at Stamps and Stories for some interesting stamps and tales.
United States Postal Service: Stamp Images
The United States Postal Service has put pictures of many of their stamps on this site. You can browse easily through stamps issued over several years.
You may get some ideas for stamp designs by viewing some of these.
