Margarita Calerón is a research scientist at the Johns Hopkins University Center for Research on the Education of Students Placed at Risk. She conducts workshops and teacher training institutes through the U.S. and Mexico on integrating cooperative learning with ESL and bilingual instuction. She has written extensively on language minority education issues.
