Beachcombing
Have you ever been beachcombing? To beachcomb is to walk along a beach and pick up things that came from the ocean. You might find seashells, starfish, sand dollars, coral, smooth stones, or pieces of wood.
When you beachcomb, it is important to be safe. Never pick up any pieces of metal or sharp glass. And don't pick up any living crabs. They might snap!
- starfish:
- A sea animal that is shaped like a star.

- sand dollar:
- A sea animal with a flat body.

- coral:
- A hard object formed by tiny sea animals.

- crab:
- A sea animal with a hard outer body, 8 legs, and 2 claws.
