Abby, Carter, Jason, and Whitney are playing a hidden treasure game. They each put a marker on this grid. Use the clues to find their hidden treasures.

  • Abby's marker is at (1,3). To find Abby's treasure, start at her marker. Then go right 2 spaces and up 3 spaces.
  • The digits in the ordered pair for Carter's marker are the same as the digits in the ordered pair for Abby's marker, but in a different order. His treasure is hidden just 1 space up from his marker.
  • To find Jason's marker, start at Abby's marker. Then go up 2 spaces and right 3 spaces. Make sure that the sum of the numbers in Jason's ordered pair is 9. To find his treasure, start at his marker. Then go right 1 space and down 2 spaces.
  • Whitney's treasure is hidden down 1 space from her marker.
