Dog Treats

Four  dogs of different breeds. The first, labeled Abby's Dog, has a ball in its mouth.  The second, labeled Carter's Dog, is jumping for a stick. The third, labeled Scott's Dog, is carrying a newspaper in its mouth.  The fourth, labeled Tracey's Dog, is sitting.


Abby, Carter, Scott, and Tracey reward their dogs with treats each time one of their dogs does a trick. Each child began with 10 treats.

  • Abby's dog did 5 tricks.
  • Carter's dog did 2 less tricks than Scott's dog.
  • Scott's dog did 1 more trick than Abby's dog.
  • Tracey's dog did 3 more tricks than Carter's dog.

How many treats did each owner have left?
