Christopher Lampton

Christopher Lampton is interested in science of all kinds, and he writes books for both children and adults that explain scientific topics in understandable terms. Among other subjects, he has written about disasters, the planets, bathtubs, sea creatures and their habitats, Thomas Edison, DNA fingerprinting, insects, and endangered species.

Another area that interests Lampton is computers. He has written books for children introducing the World Wide Web and explaining how to design Web pages. He has also written a number of books about developing computer games.


One of Christopher Lampton's strongest interests is technology and the future. He is a member of the Foresight Institute, an organization that helps society prepare for advanced technology.
