Do you need help getting your audience hooked?

Start out by saying something exciting, surprising, or funny. At the same time, let your audience know what your essay is about.

Restaurants are fun, but I know a much better way to go out for a meal. Spread out a blanket and have a picnic! I think picnics are the most fun in the world.
