Grade 3: Instructions

Have you left anything out? Use these tips to check.

Include every step your readers need to follow. Reread your draft and act out the steps. Did you forget to mention any? If so, just add them.

Include a list of all the things that are needed. Put the list near the beginning of your instructions.

Before you begin, get all your materials together. You'll need a pint-size jar, a spoon, soil, pebbles, morning glory seeds, and water.
