Raise the Titanic?

Ever since 1912, when the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank, it has rested more than two miles below the ocean's surface. Robert Ballard, the scientist and explorer who discovered the Titanic in 1985, believes the ship should be left in peace on the ocean floor. Others say it should be raised so scientists, historians, and the public can see and study this “most famous of all shipwrecks” firsthand.
