Demographics of sample population:
Snyder-Girotti Elementary is located in an urban setting on the fringe of a large city. The total school population is approximately 766 including 63% Caucasian students, 21% African American students, 15% Hispanic students and 1% Asian students.

Purpose of study:
Measure progress over time of Soar to Success students.

Methodology:
The pull-out instructional model was used; students received 40 minutes of instruction 4-5 days per week.
