From The Classroom: Student Thoughts

I love Soar because it is fun. I have learned how to use strategies. Because of Soar I can clarify and read big words.

I like Soar because you get to do strategies. Most of all, I like to predict. Predict means to tell what will happen in the story before it is read. I like the question strategy because you get to ask questions.

I like Soar because I get to have fun. It's just like an extra recess. We do fun things like using strategies and reading chunks of text. My favorite strategy is summarizing.

I can read better than at my old school. When I don't know a word I go to the end of the sentence, and if I still don't know a word I go to the words that I know and that's how I get better at reading.
