Social Studies
Students will create pictures to celebrate themselves and their birthdays, which can be used to decorate the classroom throughout the school year.
What You Need
- Happy Birthday to Me! (PDF file)
- crayons or markers
What to Do
- Explain to students that they are going to create pictures that will be used to celebrate their birthdays during the year.
- Give each student a copy of the Happy Birthday to Me! worksheet. Have each student complete the sentences and draw a personal portrait in the space provided.
- Each month, display the pages of the students who celebrate birthdays during that month (display July and August pages in June).
