- Construction paper
- Wooden dowels
- Glue or tape
- Crayons, colored pencils, or markers
What to Do
- Make cat and mouse stick puppets out of construction paper and the dowels.
- Work with children to write a series of short adventures for Cat and Mouse, who are the closest of friends and always together.
- Have pairs of children take turns acting out one of the adventures for the rest of the class.
